Inani Marbles & Industries Ltd has submitted copies of its unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) as published in Hindustan Times (English) and Business Remedies (Hindi), in line with SEBI listing regulations. Total income from operations rose about 14.4% year-on-year to Rs. 1,513.79 lakhs, up from Rs. 1,322.76 lakhs in the same quarter last year. However, net profit after tax fell sharply by around 77.6% to Rs. 17.00 lakhs, compared with Rs. 76.05 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Profit before tax dropped to Rs. 23.43 lakhs from Rs. 99.52 lakhs, and basic EPS slipped to Rs. 0.09 from Rs. 0.41. For reference, the full FY25 (ended 31 March 2025) had reported total income of Rs. 4,407.64 lakhs and net profit of Rs. 70.63 lakhs, with reserves of Rs. 4,991.66 lakhs.
Revenue growth is positive, but the steep drop in profit and EPS despite higher sales points to significant cost pressure and weak margins, which is a negative signal for shareholders and may weigh on the stock in the short term.
