Indag Rubber has shared its FY2025 investor presentation showing a weak year of financial performance. Total revenue fell 9.3% to ₹236.9 crores from ₹261.2 crores in FY24, mainly because state transport undertaking (STU) orders dropped sharply. EBITDA plunged 40% to ₹16.5 crores with margins shrinking to 7.0% from 10.6%, hit by abnormal rubber price hikes and weak government/private capex. Profit after tax nearly halved to ₹8.4 crores (vs ₹16.7 crores), and EPS slipped to ₹3.21 from ₹6.38. The CEO highlighted FY26 challenges from continued raw material volatility and new U.S. tariffs but expressed optimism on growth from fleet operator expansion, franchisee engagement, and sustainability/EPR regulations. The company also discussed its diversification into Millenium Manufacturing Systems, a green energy power electronics JV.
Negative near-term – declining revenues, halving profits, and compressed margins point to short-term earnings weakness. However, management's focus on FY26 growth drivers and steady dividend (₹2.4 per share, 75% payout) may provide some support, though raw material and trade risks remain overhangs for the stock.
