Indbank Merchant Banking Services, a subsidiary of Indian Bank, has filed a REVISED outcome of its Board Meeting held on 08 July 2026, where it approved unaudited financial results for Q1 FY27 (quarter ended 30 June 2026). The revision is purely a format correction — two extra columns were removed to match the Exchange's prescribed format, and there are NO changes to the actual financial figures. Total revenue from operations stood at Rs. 456.64 lakhs vs Rs. 462.78 lakhs in Q1 FY26, with total income at Rs. 589.48 lakhs vs Rs. 668.79 lakhs. Total expenses rose to Rs. 414.71 lakhs from Rs. 390.85 lakhs. Profit before tax fell to Rs. 177.34 lakhs (from Rs. 278.33 lakhs), and profit for the period dropped to around Rs. 121.37 lakhs (from Rs. 213.89 lakhs), a roughly 43% YoY decline. Statutory auditors Anand & Ponnappan issued an unmodified review opinion.
For shareholders, this is essentially a cosmetic re-filing with no change in reported numbers. However, the underlying Q1 results show a notable dip in profitability due to higher expenses and lower other income, which the market may view negatively for the stock in the short term.
