Indegene Limited reported revenue of $88.9 million for Q1FY26, a 1.8% growth quarter-on-quarter in USD terms. In rupee terms, revenue from operations stood at Rs 7,608 million, up from Rs 7,556 million in the previous quarter and Rs 6,765 million in the same quarter last year, marking a 12.5% year-on-year growth. The company maintained a stable profitability profile with EBITDA margin at 20.2% (same as Q4FY25, up from 19.6% YoY) and PAT margin at 15.3%. Profit after tax was Rs 1,164 million, compared to Rs 1,176 million in Q4FY25 and Rs 877 million in Q1FY25, reflecting about 33% YoY growth. The management highlighted that its strategic 'Tectonic' initiative to move upstream in the marketing value chain has started generating revenue. The company also noted a strong cash position, robust balance sheet, and continued focus on M&A opportunities. Industry recognition came from Everest Group, ISG, and Avasant.
For shareholders, the results show stable, profitable growth with no major surprises. Healthy double-digit YoY profit growth (~33%), steady EBITDA margins around 20%, and a strong balance sheet support investor confidence, while the early revenue contribution from the Tectonic initiative provides a positive medium-term growth lever.
