On 7 November 2025, the promoter group of India Finsec Ltd disclosed the creation of pledges on their equity shares, executed on 4 November 2025. Seven separate pledge entries were made in favour of Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited (acting as share broker) covering shares held by Mr. Gopal Bansal, Gopal Bansal LLP, Mrs. Sunita Bansal, Mrs. Ganga Devi Bansal, Mr. Manoj Sharma, Daisy Distributors Pvt Ltd and Gopal Bansal HUF. The stated purpose is to avail intraday margin from the broker. After these pledges, total encumbered shares stand at about 1.63 crore shares, which is 55.94% of total share capital — equal to 84.21% of the promoter group's shareholding.
Over 56% of the company's total share capital is now pledged with the broker for intraday margin, exposing promoters to margin calls if share prices fall. Such high pledging levels, even for trading purposes, increase the risk of forced selling and signal aggressive leveraging by the promoter group.
