India Glycols has submitted copies of newspaper clippings (published on 20th May 2025 in Financial Express and Uttar Ujala) notifying shareholders about the proposed transfer of equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority. This action follows the IEPF Rules 2016, which require shares with unclaimed dividends for 7 consecutive years to be moved to the IEPF. Specifically, shares where dividends from financial year 2017-18 onwards remain unclaimed for seven years are liable for transfer. The company has already sent individual notices to affected shareholders and uploaded their details on the company website. Shareholders have until 22nd August 2025 to claim their unclaimed dividends, after which the shares will be transferred to the IEPF without further notice. Shareholders can later reclaim these shares from the IEPF by following the prescribed procedure.
This is a routine regulatory compliance filing with no material impact on the stock price. However, shareholders who have not claimed dividends since FY2017-18 should verify their holdings and claim dividends before the August 22, 2025 deadline to avoid losing their shares to the IEPF Authority.
