India's $200 billion IT industry will be gone! Vinod Khosla warns AI agents can replace TCS, Infosys and Wipro's work

Silicon Valley investor Vinod Khosla, an early backer of OpenAI, warned that India's $200 billion IT services and BPO industry could be displaced by AI agents, explicitly naming TCS, Infosys, and Wipro as vulnerable. He stated the sector, a major source of foreign income, 'will be gone' unless companies rapidly adapt their business models. Khosla, however, framed the disruption as an opportunity for India to lead in large-scale AI deployment across healthcare, education, and agriculture.
