India's institutional real estate investments rose 23 percent year-on-year to USD 4.3 billion in H1 2026, rebounding after a subdued H1 2025, according to JLL. Domestic institutional capital surged 165 percent to USD 2.8 billion, capturing a record 64 percent share, while foreign institutional inflows fell 37 percent. The office sector led with a 54 percent share at USD 2.3 billion across 17 deals, and JLL projects total calendar year 2026 inflows of about USD 8.5-9 billion.
