Indiabulls Limited reported a strong turnaround for FY26 with profit of Rs 346.13 crore compared to a loss of Rs 272.73 crore in the previous year (restated). Total revenue more than doubled to Rs 833.38 crore from Rs 444.37 crore. The improvement was driven by real estate revenue of Rs 266.67 crore and asset reconstruction income of Rs 176.78 crore. The company also significantly reduced its debt from Rs 914.17 crore to Rs 435.67 crore, improving its balance sheet. The Composite Scheme of Arrangement (involving 17+ entities) approved by NCLT in August 2025 came into effect from October 2025, restructuring the group's operations with appointed date of April 1, 2023. The company's cash position strengthened to Rs 335.81 crore.
The company has returned to profitability with strong revenue growth and debt reduction, which should be viewed positively by shareholders. The successful implementation of the scheme simplifies the corporate structure. However, investors should note the deferred tax asset creation of Rs 171.78 crore and goodwill impairment of Rs 64.86 crore as exceptional items.
