Indian Acrylics Ltd reported continued losses for FY25 but with a narrower loss compared to last year. Standalone net loss for the year was Rs 30.86 crore versus Rs 54.05 crore in FY24, an improvement of about 43%. Q4 FY25 standalone loss came in at Rs 5.69 crore versus Rs 12.34 crore in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs 313.79 crore in FY25 from Rs 413.10 crore in FY24, a decline of roughly 24%, with export sales dropping from Rs 133 crore to Rs 75 crore. Finance costs reduced materially to Rs 18.54 crore from Rs 32.50 crore. Reserves remain deeply negative at Rs -125.22 crore and total borrowings stand at Rs 182 crore against equity of just Rs 10 crore, indicating a highly leveraged balance sheet. Operating cash flow turned negative at Rs -9.55 crore versus a positive Rs 8.63 crore last year. Auditor AKR & Associates issued an unmodified opinion.
Although the loss narrowed, the company remains unprofitable with negative reserves and very high debt relative to equity, signalling balance-sheet stress for shareholders. The sharp revenue decline, negative operating cash flow, and ongoing losses are likely to keep the stock under pressure.
