Indian Acrylics Ltd reported a standalone net loss of Rs 568.81 lakhs for Q4 FY25, narrowing from a loss of Rs 1,234.36 lakhs in Q4 FY24. For the full year FY25, net loss was Rs 3,086.11 lakhs versus Rs 5,405.09 lakhs in FY24, an improvement. However, revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs 38,933.14 lakhs in FY25 from Rs 54,616.29 lakhs in FY24, a decline of about 28.7%. Total expenses also reduced from Rs 60,863.10 lakhs to Rs 42,528.85 lakhs, with finance costs dropping notably to Rs 1,854.39 lakhs from Rs 3,250.35 lakhs. The company has accumulated negative reserves of Rs 12,522.12 lakhs, leaving total equity at just Rs 1,010.10 lakhs against borrowings of over Rs 18,000 lakhs. The auditor (AKR & Associates) issued an unmodified opinion. The board also appointed new Secretarial, Internal, and Cost Auditors, and a new Chairperson, Mrs Surabhi Malik (IAS).
Shareholders should note that while losses have narrowed, the company has posted another year of losses with deeply eroded reserves and a steep revenue decline. High debt versus thin equity and negative operating cash flow remain key concerns; near-term stock sentiment is likely cautious.
