Indian Acrylics reported FY25 standalone results with a net loss of ₹30.86 crore, narrower than the ₹54.05 crore loss in FY24. Total income from operations fell about 29% to ₹394.43 crore from ₹554.58 crore, driven by lower domestic and export sales. For Q4 FY25, the company posted a loss of ₹5.69 crore versus ₹12.34 crore a year ago. Reserves have turned deeply negative at -₹125.22 crore, and borrowings of about ₹182 crore stand against equity of just ₹10 crore, indicating a very stretched balance sheet. Cash from operations was negative at -₹9.55 crore for the year. Auditors (AKR & Associates) issued an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results, and the Board appointed new Secretarial, Internal, and Cost Auditors along with Mrs. Surabhi Malik (IAS, MD of PSIDC) as Non-Executive Nominee Director and Chairperson.
Despite the loss narrowing, ongoing revenue decline, negative reserves, negative operating cash flow, and very high debt-to-equity ratio remain serious concerns for shareholders. The stock is likely to stay under pressure until clear signs of revenue recovery and debt reduction emerge.
