Indian Acrylics reported total operating income of ₹8,805 lakhs in Q1 FY26, down about 25% from ₹11,696 lakhs in Q1 FY25, dragged by sharply lower domestic sales (₹4,743 lakhs vs ₹9,831 lakhs) even as export sales more than doubled to ₹3,876 lakhs from ₹1,585 lakhs. The company narrowed its standalone net loss to ₹472 lakhs from ₹877 lakhs a year ago, with EPS improving to ₹(0.35) from ₹(0.65). Losses are accumulating against already-negative reserves of ₹12,522 lakhs, reflecting persistent profitability challenges. The Yarn segment posted a ₹286 lakh loss while Fibre remained profitable at ₹201 lakhs. The board also approved re-appointment of two Independent Directors and scheduled the AGM for September 29, 2025.
Despite a narrower quarterly loss and strong export growth, the company continues to report losses with deeply eroded reserves, signalling ongoing financial stress that remains a key concern for shareholders.
