Indian Hume Pipe Company has published its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 in Business Standard (English) and Sakal (Marathi) on August 13, 2025, as required under SEBI listing rules. Total income from operations stood at Rs 31,930.17 lakhs, down from Rs 36,560.72 lakhs in the same quarter last year, a YoY decline of about 12.7%. Net profit after tax came in at Rs 2,191.98 lakhs versus Rs 3,115.66 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a drop of roughly 29.7%. Basic and diluted EPS for the quarter was Rs 4.16, compared to Rs 5.91 in the year-ago quarter. The results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board on August 12, 2025.
The sharp year-on-year drop in both revenue and profit may pressure the stock in the near term, as Q1 performance has weakened across the top and bottom line. Existing shareholders should look for management commentary on the reasons for the slowdown and any guidance on the rest of the year before drawing long-term conclusions.
