IMFA announced its unaudited Q1 FY26 results on 30th July 2025. Standalone revenue from operations was Rs 641.54 crore with a net profit of Rs 91.48 crore, nearly doubling sequentially from Rs 47.07 crore in Q4 FY25, though down from Rs 112.16 crore in Q1 FY25. Consolidated PAT stood at Rs 92.54 crore. Standalone basic EPS was Rs 16.96 (consolidated Rs 17.10). The Ferro Alloys segment drove profitability with Rs 118.31 crore in segment profit, while Mining reported a loss of Rs 4.13 crore. Mr. Nalini Ranjan Mohanty retired from the Board and Non-Executive Chairmanship upon completion of his term, and Dr. Barada Kanta Mishra, an existing Independent Director, was appointed as the new Non-Executive Chairman effective 31st July 2025. The Stakeholders Relationship Committee was also reconstituted.
Sharp sequential recovery in earnings signals margin improvement, though YoY profits are softer. The smooth transition of the Chairman role to an existing Independent Director is a routine governance change with no disruption to operations or strategy.
