IMFA reported its unaudited Q2 FY26 results, with standalone total income rising modestly to ₹736.14 crore from ₹711.78 crore a year ago. However, standalone net profit after tax fell sharply to ₹98.77 crore from ₹125.72 crore, a decline of about 21% year-on-year, while EPS dropped to ₹18.31 from ₹23.30. Consolidated numbers showed a similar pattern, with PAT of ₹97.55 crore versus ₹125.21 crore last year. For the first half of FY26, standalone total income was ₹1,398.82 crore with PAT of ₹190.25 crore and EPS of ₹35.26. The Board has declared an interim dividend of ₹5 per share (50% on face value of ₹10) for FY25-26, approved at its meeting on 4 November 2025.
Despite stable topline growth, the meaningful drop in profit and EPS signals margin pressure for shareholders. The ₹5 interim dividend provides some income support, but weaker profitability could weigh on the stock in the near term.
