IMFA reported Q1 FY26 standalone revenue of ₹641.54 crores, up 13% sequentially from ₹567.15 crores in Q4 FY25, though down about 3% from ₹662.28 crores in Q1 FY25. Profit after tax nearly doubled to ₹91.48 crores (vs ₹47.07 crores in Q4 FY25), with EBITDA at ₹125.47 crores and an EBITDA margin of 19.56%. Exports contributed ₹556.26 crores, about 87% of total revenue. Ferro chrome production rose to 65,929 tonnes from 65,101 tonnes in Q4 FY25, and the company remains long-term debt free. Management highlighted a reversal in ferro chrome prices and the Kalinganagar greenfield expansion and ethanol project are progressing on schedule, with capacity commissioning expected from mid-2026.
Strong sequential recovery in profitability signals improving demand and pricing for ferro chrome, which should support the stock in the near term. Debt-free balance sheet combined with ongoing capacity expansion and a positive pricing outlook positions IMFA favourably, though the YoY decline in revenue and PAT suggests the recovery is still building.
