IndiGrid reported Q1 FY26 results with flat revenue of ₹8,398 Mn (vs ₹8,351 Mn) but an 8.2% YoY decline in EBITDA to ₹7,037 Mn, primarily due to a one-off generator breakdown in a solar asset and provisioning for investment manager fees on recent acquisitions. Quarterly DPU was raised 6.7% YoY to ₹4.00, in line with the full-year guidance of ₹16.00. The Trust completed two acquisitions — RSAPL (300 MW solar) and KNTL (~276 ckms transmission) — for an aggregate enterprise value of ~₹2,108 crore, pushing AUM to ~₹324 Bn. Net Debt/AUM stood at ~61.2%, well below the 70% cap. EnerGrid, its project manager, secured its first win: a 187.5 MW / 750 MWh BESS project in Uttar Pradesh. Collections were 93% for transmission assets and 111% for solar assets.
The DPU growth and reaffirmed FY26 guidance of ₹16 are positive for unitholders, though the EBITDA dip reflects one-time costs that are expected to normalise. The acquisition pipeline (active bids worth ~₹1,39,703 crore in transmission and BESS) and EnerGrid's first BESS win signal continued growth momentum, supporting the long-term yield story.
