IndiGrid Infrastructure Trust has completed its annual credit rating review for FY 2024-25. All three rating agencies — ICRA, Crisil Ratings, and India Ratings & Research — have reaffirmed their highest-grade ratings on the Trust's debt instruments. The issuer rating and long-term ratings stand at AAA with a Stable outlook across all agencies, while short-term commercial paper ratings are at A1+. The review covers total debt facilities of approximately Rs 39,587 crore, including NCDs of Rs 28,561 crore, bank loans of Rs 10,026 crore, and commercial paper of Rs 750 crore. The Stable outlook from all three agencies indicates that rating agencies see no near-term risks to the Trust's credit profile.
The reaffirmation of AAA/Stable ratings by all three leading agencies is a positive signal for unit holders, confirming IndiGrid's strong credit quality and low default risk. This should support continued investor confidence and keep borrowing costs favorable for the Trust's future debt issuances.
