IndiGrid's Board approved Q1FY26 unaudited consolidated results with total income of Rs. 8,729.75 million, almost flat year-on-year (Rs. 8,733.92 million in Q1FY25), while profit for the period fell sharply to Rs. 752.83 million from Rs. 1,369.78 million last year, mainly due to weaker power generation revenue (Rs. 1,824.87M vs Rs. 2,231.66M YoY) after the GEEPL plant was non-operational for the entire quarter for repairs. Power transmission revenue rose to Rs. 6,554.89 million from Rs. 6,119.68 million YoY. The Board declared a Q1FY26 distribution of Rs. 4.00 per unit (record date July 29, 2025; payment by August 5, 2025). Fair-value NAV as on June 30, 2025 stood at Rs. 148.21 per unit. The Trust also completed the 100% consolidation of Enerica Infra I and acquired Renew Surya Aayan and Koppal Narendra Transmission during the quarter.
Unit holders get a steady Rs. 4.00 per unit distribution, but the sharp YoY drop in profit and weaker generation segment (due to the GEEPL outage and insurance claim pending) may weigh on investor sentiment, even as transmission revenue and asset base continue to grow through new acquisitions.
