Indo Count Industries reported Q1 FY26 results on August 12, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations fell about 19% year-on-year to ₹73,326.67 lakhs (vs ₹90,633.17 lakhs in Q1 FY25), while standalone profit after tax dropped roughly 49% to ₹4,028.08 lakhs (vs ₹7,906.73 lakhs). On a consolidated basis, revenue was largely flat at ₹95,870.60 lakhs (vs ₹94,142.84 lakhs), supported by recent US acquisitions (Fluvitex USA and Modern Home Textiles), but consolidated PAT still fell about 51% YoY to ₹3,779.49 lakhs. Standalone EPS came in at ₹2.03 (vs ₹3.99) and consolidated EPS at ₹1.91 (vs ₹3.93). EBITDA margins compressed meaningfully versus Q1 FY25 as raw material and other expenses remained elevated. Price Waterhouse issued an unmodified limited review report, though it highlighted that the purchase price allocation for the US acquisitions remains provisional.
Sharp YoY drop in profits despite steady consolidated topline suggests significant margin pressure and demand weakness in the core textile business, which may weigh on short-term sentiment. However, stable consolidated revenue shows that recent acquisitions are cushioning the standalone slowdown, offering some longer-term diversification.
