Indo-National Limited (Nippo Batteries) announced board changes at its meeting on 06th June 2025. Ms. Suneeta Reddy, wife of Managing Director Mr. P. Dwaraknath Reddy and mother of Joint Managing Director Mr. P. Aditya Reddy, has been appointed as a Director, subject to shareholder approval. She is a prominent business leader known for her role at Apollo Hospitals and has featured in Fortune India's Most Powerful Women list. Separately, Mr. M. Sankara Reddy, a Non-Executive Independent Director, resigned citing prior business commitments. Following this, the Audit, Risk Management, Nomination & Remuneration, and CSR committees have been reconstituted without him.
The addition of Ms. Suneeta Reddy brings experienced promoter-family leadership to the board, which may strengthen strategic oversight but also increases promoter representation. Mr. Sankara Reddy's departure appears routine and is unlikely to materially affect operations given the remaining independent directors continue on the key committees.
