The Board approved unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025). Standalone total income rose to Rs. 1,403.56 lakhs from Rs. 903.52 lakhs a year ago, while profit after tax jumped to Rs. 825.52 lakhs from Rs. 483.23 lakhs, a roughly 71% year-on-year increase driven mainly by net gains on fair value changes. The Board declared an interim dividend of Re. 0.10 per share (10% on the Re. 1 face value). It also authorized a Business Strategy Committee to evaluate restructuring options including demerger, subsidiarisation, or merger, and approved amendments to the MOA's object clauses to support expansion. The 31st AGM is fixed for 27 September 2025.
The strong Q1 earnings and dividend declaration are positive for shareholders, though the Re. 0.10 dividend is small in absolute terms. The ongoing review of restructuring options (demerger/merger) could unlock value but creates near-term uncertainty. Note: the stock split (Rs. 10 to Re. 1 face value) with a record date of 18 July 2025 is already effective, so current share price reflects the post-split basis.
