Indus Infra Trust has informed exchanges about an upcoming Board Meeting on 12th May 2026 where the Investment Manager (GR Highways Investment Manager Private Limited) will consider fund raising. Originally, the Board was to consider raising up to Rs. 1,000 Crore via unsecured, listed, rated Commercial Papers on private placement basis. This update adds a new item: raising funds through issuance of units, securities or other instruments through various modes including private placement, preferential issue, rights issue, institutional placement, etc. Both fund raising modes are subject to applicable laws and regulatory approvals, and can be to Sponsor and/or non-Sponsor investors.
The Trust is expanding its fund raising options beyond commercial papers to include equity/unit issuances. This suggests active capital mobilisation for growth, though unit issuances may dilute existing unitholder value depending on pricing and terms.
