Indus Infra Trust has completed the acquisition of controlling interest and substantially all equity share capital of KNR Palani Infra Private Limited (KNRPIPL) from KNR Constructions Limited on 29th May 2026. The transaction was carried out under SEBI InvIT Regulations. Two nominee shares are pending transfer but control has been effective from the completion date. This represents a significant asset acquisition for the InvIT, expanding its infrastructure portfolio.
The acquisition strengthens Indus Infra Trust's infrastructure holdings and may be positive for unit holders, as it adds controlling assets to the trust's portfolio. The pending nominee share transfer is a formality and does not affect control.
