Indus Infra Trust (formerly Bharat Highways InvIT) shared its Q3 FY26 investor presentation covering results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025. Standalone net profit fell to Rs. 874.97 Mn in Q3 FY26 from Rs. 1,350.77 Mn in Q3 FY25, impacted by a Rs. 605.49 Mn investment impairment; 9M FY26 standalone net profit was Rs. 2,189.79 Mn vs. Rs. 4,241.37 Mn a year ago. Consolidated Q3 FY26 net profit stood at Rs. 964.32 Mn (vs. Rs. 1,188.42 Mn) with EBITDA of Rs. 1,406.07 Mn. The Trust declared a distribution of Rs. 3.40 per unit for Q3 FY26 (Interest Rs. 1.44 + Return of Capital Rs. 1.96), taking cumulative distributions to Rs. 24.20 per unit. During the quarter, it completed acquisition of GR Bahadurganj Araria Highway (44.98 km Bihar HAM asset) for Rs. 1,883.14 Mn and signed SPAs to acquire 4 additional HAM assets from KNR in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala.
Despite a sharp YoY profit decline driven by investment impairments, the Trust maintained its distribution per unit and is actively expanding its portfolio through acquisitions, which could support future cash flows. The AAA/Stable credit rating reaffirmation and a pipeline of 18 more ROFO assets from sponsor GRIL provide visibility on growth, though margin and earnings recovery remain key things to watch.
