Industrial & Prudential Investment Company Ltd has published extracts of its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended 30th June 2025 (Q1FY26) in Financial Express (English) and Aaj Kal (Bengali) on 6th August 2025. The results were approved by the Board on 5th August 2025. On a standalone basis, total income from operations surged to Rs 1,793.62 lakh (vs Rs 130.89 lakh in Q1FY25), while net profit after tax jumped to Rs 1,763.63 lakh (vs Rs 96.47 lakh). EPS rose sharply to Rs 105.24 from Rs 5.76. On a consolidated basis, net profit after tax stood at Rs 1,375.61 lakh (vs Rs 1,057.60 lakh), aided by share of profit from associates.
Headline numbers show very strong YoY growth, but the standalone base in Q1FY25 was unusually small, so the comparisons may exaggerate the underlying business momentum. Investors should look at the consolidated figures and full quarterly statement on the BSE/C company website for a clearer picture before drawing conclusions.
