Infonative Solutions, an e-learning content company that listed on BSE SME in April 2025, reported revenue of ₹1,207.24 lakhs for H1 FY26, up about 7.5% from ₹1,123.40 lakhs in H1 FY25. However, net profit dropped sharply to ₹151.63 lakhs from ₹364.48 lakhs, a decline of roughly 58%, mainly because 'other expenses' ballooned to ₹342.80 lakhs versus just ₹49.03 lakhs a year ago. EPS fell to ₹1.29 from ₹4.18. The company raised about ₹2,015 lakhs from its IPO and is deploying those funds into property, plant and equipment (₹670 lakhs), intangible assets under development (now ₹1,490 lakhs) and fixed deposits (₹1,243 lakhs), so cash from operations turned negative at ₹(91.37) lakhs versus a positive ₹134.43 lakhs last year.
Mixed for shareholders — top line is steady but the sharp fall in profit and negative operating cash flow signal margin pressure and heavy spending phase post-IPO; near-term earnings may remain weak, though the balance sheet has strengthened meaningfully thanks to fresh equity.
