Infosys Q1 Results: Attrition rate improves to 13%; headcount slips sequentially

Infosys reported a voluntary attrition rate of 13 percent on a trailing twelve-month basis for Q1 FY27, improving from 14.4 percent in the year-ago quarter. On a sequential basis, however, attrition edged up from 12.6 percent in the March 2026 quarter. Total headcount stood at 328,062 employees as of June 30, 2026, reflecting a net reduction of 532 sequentially but a year-on-year addition of 4,274 employees.
