Infrastructure Investment Trusts distribute Rs 22,800cr in FY26 to unitholders

Listed Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs) in India distributed Rs 22,769 crore to unitholders in FY26, taking cumulative distributions since inception to Rs 91,000 crore. Assets Under Management grew to Rs 7.1 lakh crore from Rs 6.3 lakh crore in FY25, while the unitholder base expanded by 64% with nearly 2 lakh new retail investors added. Industry equity fundraising rose to Rs 1.97 lakh crore in FY26 from Rs 1.75 lakh crore in FY25, with gross debt at Rs 3.35 lakh crore as of March 31, 2026.
