Insolation Energy Ltd reported strong H1FY26 results, with consolidated revenue rising 25.6% YoY to Rs. 776.7 crore from Rs. 618.3 crore in H1FY25. EBITDA grew 30.6% to Rs. 113.8 crore, with margin expanding 60 basis points to 14.7%, driven by scale benefits. Profit after tax (PAT) increased 23.5% YoY to Rs. 80.1 crore, while PBT grew 25.6% to Rs. 97 crore at a flat 12.5% margin. The company commissioned its 3 GW INA 3 TOPCon N-type solar module plant, with an additional 1.5 GW (Line 3) expected by end of Q3FY26. It has also started construction of a 4.5 GW solar cell plant and 18,000 MTPA aluminium frame facility, targeted for H2FY27 commissioning to deepen vertical integration. Note: figures are restated under Ind-AS, migrated from the older AS framework.
Positive for shareholders — robust revenue and earnings growth, margin expansion, and aggressive capacity buildout support a strong medium-term outlook. However, the steep capex pipeline and execution risk on multiple upcoming plants warrant monitoring.
