BCL Enterprises, an NBFC, reported a strong turnaround for FY25 with total income rising to Rs. 678.12 lakh from Rs. 263.22 lakh in FY24, a jump of about 158%. The company swung to a profit after tax of Rs. 70.05 lakh in FY25 compared to a loss of Rs. 255.59 lakh in the previous year. However, Q4 FY25 alone slipped back into a pre-tax loss of Rs. 25.56 lakh versus a much larger loss of Rs. 339.91 lakh in Q4 FY24. Cash flow from operations turned negative at Rs. (26.32) lakh in FY25 versus a positive Rs. 178.99 lakh earlier. The statutory auditor Krishan Rakesh & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
The full-year swing to profit is positive for shareholders, showing recovery from the prior year's losses, though the negative operating cash flow and weaker Q4 performance are points to watch. The clean audit opinion supports credibility of the numbers.
