Avishkar Infra Realty (formerly Joy Realty) filed its Q1FY26 financial results through the SEBI integrated filing format. On a standalone basis, the company reported zero revenue from operations, earned Rs 46.48 lacs as other income, and posted a small profit after tax of Rs 22.19 lacs (EPS Rs 0.10). On a consolidated basis, which now includes subsidiary Avishkar Keval Kunj Redevelopment Pvt Ltd, the company swung to a loss of Rs 51.17 lacs compared with a profit of Rs 364.64 lacs in the preceding quarter. Consolidated finance costs jumped sharply to Rs 70.12 lacs from Rs 20.63 lacs in Q4FY25, driving the consolidated loss. The auditors, SDP M & Co., issued an unmodified (clean) limited review report on both standalone and consolidated results, and the company confirmed no loan defaults or outstanding debt securities.
The swing to a consolidated loss and the steep rise in finance costs are negatives for shareholders, while the continued absence of operating revenue suggests the core realty business remains dormant. Standalone profit was entirely driven by other income, so sustainability of earnings is questionable until revenue operations resume.
