Intense Technologies reported a muted Q1 FY26 with revenue of Rs. 31.47 crores and EBITDA of Rs. 3.14 crores, below the same period last year due to the conclusion of a large 5-year managed services contract. The company added four new BFSI customers (three in India, one in Saudi Arabia — their first customer in that geography) and two state government contracts worth roughly Rs. 12 crores in pipeline. International revenue mix rose from 18% to 30% of total sales. The company is debt-free with Rs. 58 crores in cash and Rs. 65 crores in receivables. Headcount fell from 482 to 452 as AI tools automated coding, testing and operations. Management guided for 10–15% FY26 top-line growth and said exit margins in H2 should recover to 15–20%.
Short-term results are weak because of the loss of a high-margin legacy contract, but management's guidance for double-digit growth and margin recovery in H2, combined with new logo wins and a debt-free balance sheet, offers a cautiously positive outlook for patient shareholders.
