Interactive Financial Services Ltd conducted a postal ballot via remote e-voting between August 27 and September 25, 2025, on two special resolutions. The first was to change one of the objects of the company's rights issue, and the second was to appoint a secretarial auditor. Out of 2,910 eligible shareholders holding 69,30,130 total shares, 24,74,629 votes (35.71% of outstanding shares) were polled. Both resolutions passed with overwhelming support, with 97.40% of votes (24,10,379 shares from 49 members) in favour and just 2.60% (64,250 shares from 3 members) against. Promoter/promoter group were not interested in either resolution. The scrutinizer, Ms. Insiya Nalawala, certified the results on September 26, 2025.
Both resolutions cleared easily with strong shareholder backing, indicating low dissent. The change in the rights issue object may signal a shift in how the company plans to deploy capital from its rights issue, which shareholders should monitor for the revised purpose.
