Interise Trust has announced that the concession period for its Special Purpose Vehicle, Igatpuri Highway Private Limited, concluded on May 6, 2026. The project is a 4-lane highway (Vadape to Gonde on NH-3, km 440 to 539.5) in Maharashtra, developed under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) arrangement under NHDP Phase III. The SPV will now hand over the project to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) as per the terms of the concession agreement. This was disclosed under SEBI (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014.
The conclusion of the concession period means Interise Trust loses the income-generating asset from this SPV, which could reduce distributions to unit holders. Investors should monitor for any asset replacement or compensation provisions under the concession agreement.
