International Combustion India Ltd informed the BSE that it published its Unaudited Standalone Financial Results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) in Business Standard (English) and Ei Samay (Bengali) on 1 August 2025, as mandated under SEBI Listing Regulations. Total income from operations stood at Rs. 5,988.57 lakhs, marginally higher than Rs. 5,952.62 lakhs in Q1 FY25. However, the company swung to a net loss of Rs. 3.28 lakhs after tax, compared to a profit of Rs. 177.44 lakhs in the year-ago quarter. Total comprehensive income also turned negative at Rs. (107.11) lakhs versus Rs. 173.68 lakhs earlier. Basic and diluted EPS slipped into the red at Rs. (3.90), against Rs. 7.42 in Q1 FY25. Reserves stood at Rs. 13,136.86 lakhs with equity share capital of Rs. 239.03 lakhs.
Despite nearly flat revenues, the company moved from profit to loss year-on-year, indicating cost pressure or weak operational performance. This could weigh negatively on investor sentiment and the stock price in the near term.
