Interworld Digital's EGM on July 17, 2026 approved a new set of Memorandum and Articles of Association aligned with the Companies Act 2013. The Object Clause was altered to allow entry into consumer electronics, mobile phones, mobile accessories and computer hardware businesses. Mr. Faizal Bavaraparambil Abdul Khader was appointed as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director. Members also approved borrowing powers up to Rs 200 crore, investments and loans up to Rs 50 crore, Section 185 transactions up to Rs 25 crore, and material related party transactions up to Rs 26.80 crore for FY 2026-27.
Company is pivoting into consumer electronics and mobile distribution. Higher borrowing and investment limits suggest possible fundraising or acquisitions ahead.
