Hindusthan Urban Infrastructure Limited has informed the stock exchanges that Mr. M.L. Birmiwala, who serves as President-Finance & Secretary and is a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company, has formally withdrawn his resignation. Earlier, the company had intimated on 13th November 2025 that his resignation had been accepted, which was to take effect from the close of business hours on 30th November 2025. On 29th November 2025, Mr. Birmiwala submitted a letter withdrawing his resignation, and the Board of Directors, on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, accepted the withdrawal. As a result, he will continue in his role as President-Finance & Secretary with no break in his service, and the original resignation no longer stands.
This is a positive, stability-building development for shareholders. The continuity of a senior KMP avoids any management disruption that could have followed from his departure, and signals that the company retains its key finance and compliance leadership heading into the new financial reporting cycle.
