Bluegod Entertainment had earlier signed a Term Sheet (Feb 28, 2026) with Absolute Legends Sports Pvt Ltd to acquire intellectual property and commercial rights related to the Legends League Cricket (LLC) Master T20 tournament. However, the Delhi High Court has now passed an ad-interim order (dated March 18, 2026) restraining Absolute Legends Sports from transferring, assigning, or creating any third-party rights over the LLC media and commercial rights. In compliance with this court order, Bluegod has decided not to proceed further with signing the IP Assignment Agreement at this time. The company is putting the previously announced deal on hold due to ongoing legal restrictions on the counterparty.
This is a negative development as the planned acquisition of valuable sports IP (Legends League Cricket rights) has been stalled by a court order against the seller. Shareholders should expect uncertainty around this initiative, and further clarity will depend on how the Delhi High Court matter resolves.
