UPL Limited reported strong consolidated results for Q4 FY25, with total income from operations rising about 10.6% year-on-year to Rs 15,573 crore from Rs 14,078 crore. Net profit for the quarter came in at Rs 1,079 crore, compared with a loss of Rs 80 crore in Q4 FY24. For the full financial year FY25, total income grew to Rs 46,637 crore from Rs 43,098 crore, and the company swung to a net profit of Rs 820 crore from a loss of Rs 1,878 crore in FY24. Basic EPS for Q4 was Rs 11.42 versus Rs 0.52 a year ago, while FY25 EPS stood at Rs 9.85 against a loss of Rs 17.45 per share. On a standalone basis, FY25 profit after tax from continuing operations jumped sharply to Rs 2,643 crore from Rs 909 crore in FY24.
The results mark a clear turnaround from FY24's losses, with strong recovery in both revenue and profitability, likely to be viewed positively by shareholders and supportive of the stock price.
