IGI filed the transcript of its Q2 CY25 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) earnings call held on July 29, 2025. Consolidated Q2 revenue grew 20% YoY to INR 314 crore, with certification income up 18% to INR 292 crore. Volumes rose 21% to 3.03 million reports, led by 24% growth in lab-grown diamonds and 14% in natural diamonds. EBITDA grew 37% to INR 174 crore (58% margin) and PAT jumped 63% to INR 127 crore (42% margin). For H1 CY25, revenue grew 14% to INR 627.8 crore, EBITDA rose 23% to INR 369.2 crore (61% margin), and PAT grew 31% to INR 267 crore. Management reaffirmed full-year guidance of 15–20% revenue growth and EBITDA margins in the 57–64% range, noting that the sequential margin dip in Q2 was largely due to one-off AI-related investments and a normal seasonal slowdown in jewelry certification.
Strong Q2 print with double-digit revenue and volume growth across segments reinforces IGI's leadership in diamond certification. Cash pile of INR 750+ crore opens room for dividends and inorganic moves, while reaffirmed guidance supports investor confidence despite a slight sequential margin dip.
