IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals announced the outcome of its 16th May 2025 board meeting. For FY25 (standalone), revenue from operations stood at Rs 2,079.21 crore, slightly lower than Rs 2,132.79 crore in FY24, while net profit fell to Rs 101.00 crore from Rs 135.42 crore — a decline of about 25%. EPS dropped to Rs 3.44 from Rs 4.61. Statutory auditors Ashwani & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The board re-appointed Mr Vikas Gupta as Joint Managing Director for a further 5 years from 29th May 2025, subject to shareholder approval. Vikas Gupta is the son of Managing Director Mr Varinder Gupta and brother of Executive Director Mr Abhiraj Gupta, confirming continued promoter family control at the top. The board also appointed M/s B.K. Gupta & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for FY26–FY30, reconstituted several board committees, and fixed the 38th AGM for 22nd August 2025.
Shareholders should note a meaningful drop in full-year profits even as revenue stayed nearly flat, which may weigh on near-term sentiment. The re-appointment of a promoter family member as Joint MD signals continuity of family-led management; investors will watch the AGM on 22nd August for shareholder approval of the re-appointment and any dividend announcements.
