Ipca Laboratories reported strong FY2026 results with standalone revenue of Rs 7,336.75 crore (up 9.9% YoY) and profit after tax of Rs 1,132.52 crore (up 74% YoY). Consolidated revenue stood at Rs 9,646.33 crore (up 7.9% YoY) with PAT of Rs 1,141.12 crore (up 54.7% YoY). The Board recommended a dividend of Rs 6 per share (600%). Key exceptional items include labour code impact of Rs 45.82 crore on consolidated basis, impairment charges of Rs 281.54 crore (subsidiary and associate exposures), partially offset by gains from land sale (Rs 17.65 crore) and deconsolidation of Bayshore Pharmaceuticals (Rs 60.04 crore). The auditors issued unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated results. Mr Prashant Godha has been re-appointed as Executive Director for 5 years.
The company delivered robust double-digit profit growth driven by operational performance despite significant one-time impairment charges. The dividend recommendation and clean audit opinion are positive signals for shareholders. The stock may react positively to strong PAT growth exceeding 25%.
