Ircon International has appointed Mr Sudhir Singh as Director (Projects) effective 2nd January 2026. The appointment follows an order from the Ministry of Railways dated 31st December 2025. Mr Singh, an Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) officer, currently serves as Executive Director/CE(BS) at the Railway Board and has taken this role as an additional charge until further orders. He holds a BE in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee (1998) and brings over 26 years of experience, including work on the Udhampur–Srinagar–Baramulla Rail Link project and station redevelopment initiatives. He is not related to any existing director and has not been debarred by SEBI or any other authority.
This is a routine government-mandated leadership appointment at a Railway PSU, with no material financial impact on shareholders. The continuity of senior leadership should help maintain execution momentum on ongoing infrastructure projects.
