Ircon International has received a Letter of Acceptance from South Western Railway, Indian Railway for survey, design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of KAVACH equipment and associated works over 778 RKM (Route Kilometres) in Bengaluru and Mysuru Divisions. The order is valued at Rs. 253.56 crore and is to be executed within 18 months from the date of LOA issue. This is a domestic works contract and does not involve any related party transactions. The KAVACH system is India's indigenous automatic train protection (ATP) system, deployed across Indian Railways for safety.
This is a positive development as it adds Rs. 253.56 crore to Ircon's order book from a credible government client (Indian Railways), supporting revenue visibility over the next 18 months.
