Ircon International reported standalone total income of Rs 8,978.58 crore for FY2026, down from Rs 10,677.45 crore in FY2025, representing approximately 16% revenue decline. Net profit after tax stood at Rs 618.45 crore versus Rs 737.59 crore in the previous year. Consolidated income was Rs 9,501.97 crore with PAT of Rs 591.92 crore. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.70 per share (35%) for FY2025-26, in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 1.20 already paid. Auditors issued unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated results. Note 9 discloses a prior period error restatement where deferred tax assets of CERL JV were overstated by Rs 227.47 crore, restated from April 1, 2024.
The year-on-year decline in both revenue and profit may disappoint investors expecting growth. However, clean audit opinions and dividend payment indicate financial stability. The restatement of prior period figures is a one-time adjustment with no impact on current period profits.
