ICRA Limited has reviewed and reaffirmed the credit ratings for Isgec Heavy Engineering Limited covering Rs. 5,550 crore of facilities. The long-term rating [ICRA]AA (Stable) was maintained for fund-based limits of Rs. 600 crore and term loan of Rs. 50 crore. The short-term rating [ICRA]A1+ was reaffirmed for non-fund based limits of Rs. 3,800.17 crore. Combined long-term/short-term ratings were also maintained at [ICRA]AA (Stable)/[ICRA]A1+ for fund-based/non-fund based limits of Rs. 1,099.83 crore. The reaffirmation confirms no change in the company's creditworthiness since the previous rating in March 2025.
The reaffirmation of investment-grade ratings signals stable credit quality and should reassure lenders and investors about the company's debt servicing capability. This is a neutral-to-slightly-positive development for shareholders.
