ISL Consulting reported FY25 revenue from operations of Rs. 244.72 crore against Rs. 242.06 crore last year, a marginal rise of about 1%. However, total expenses jumped sharply to Rs. 262.97 crore from Rs. 205.38 crore, driven by higher purchase of stock-in-trade and inventory adjustments. The company swung from a profit after tax of Rs. 30.98 lakh in FY24 to a loss after tax of Rs. 173.11 lakh in FY25. Q4 FY25 alone posted a loss after tax of Rs. 156.07 lakh, with EPS of -0.65. The auditor (Bihari Shah & Co.) issued an unmodified opinion on the results. The company has no borrowings and operating cash flow was marginally positive at Rs. 6.23 lakh versus negative Rs. 158.24 lakh in FY24.
Despite steady topline, sharp cost inflation eroded profitability, turning FY25 into a loss year. The swing from profit to loss and shrinking equity reserves are red flags for shareholders, though the debt-free balance sheet and clean audit opinion limit immediate solvency concerns.
