IST Limited reported a sharp jump in Q1 FY26 standalone net profit to ₹2,841.79 lakhs versus ₹813.37 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a growth of about 249%. Standalone revenue from operations rose ~40.6% to ₹775.11 lakhs from ₹551.11 lakhs, while other income also more than tripled to ₹3,301.35 lakhs. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations was broadly flat at ₹2,939.33 lakhs (vs ₹2,878.02 lakhs), but net profit grew ~37% to ₹7,234.76 lakhs from ₹5,274.16 lakhs, helped by strong other income of ₹7,238.14 lakhs. The board approved the results on 13 August 2025 and auditor VSVG & Co issued an unmodified limited review conclusion on both sets of results. The company has two reportable segments on a consolidated basis — Manufacturing and SEZ Developer — with the SEZ segment contributing the bulk of profit.
The sharp standalone profit growth looks largely driven by a spike in 'other income' rather than core operations, so shareholders should watch whether this is sustainable. The consolidated picture is more balanced, with the SEZ Developer segment continuing to be the main earnings driver, which is broadly positive for the stock.
